There will be one “Malik James Final Act Memorial Scholarship” winner announced with the award being $1000. However, amount will vary in the upcoming years based on funding. 

MJFAF will pay a counselor of the winners’ choice up to 5 sessions, up to $250.00 per session. 

All Malik James Final Act Foundation scholarships are single-year awards. However, winners of the previous year may apply for the following year if eligible.

Recipient will receive a stipend check sent directly to them within 10-14 business days of the award date. 

Recipient will receive need to provide either an invoice via an online link, or allow MJFAF to contact the counselor payment services to pay directly. We will pay up to $250 per sessions for 5 sessions.

A selective group of four people in the entertainment industry will be the judges. These judges will vary each year, pending availability. They are Broadway actors, TV/Movie actors, Yale Graduates and/or Teachers, talent agents and managers.
